Six Limbs Akimbo Blue
The most recent piece in the Limbs Akimbo series, this version takes a beautiful deep blue from the powder coating process that will last for decades. First shown at the Octavia Show in January this piece has already been placed and now resides in lovely, art filled front yard in Uptown New Orleans.
Ten Limbs Akimbo
Final installation of the Ten Limbs Piece, #1 of 3 on Nantucket Island MA. Like the above proof of concept this large work is over 14 feet tall with an orbit of 12 feet. Ten Limbs White
Ten Limbs White in the Sculpture Garden at Art Egg Studios. This piece is a proof of concept for my first truly monument work, 16 feet tall, with a 12 foot orbit and is powder coated white. The final version, Ten Limbs Akimbo #1 of 3 in mirror polished aluminum, is available through Cavalier Galleries, NY, CT, MA & FL.. Currently resides on Nantucket Island MA.
Five Limbs Akimbo
The first large scale piece I completed, back in 2017. This piece had a central place in the garden of my studio building well before I turned the space into a sculpture garden in 2019. Being outdoors for several years demonstrated that my underlying design techniques were sound and that pieces would stand the test of time. Cosmetically, on the other hand, I’ve learned a great deal since this piece was made and decided to retire it in early 2020 and replace it with an entirely new version for the Octavia show. This piece now resides in Uptown New Orleans.
